This is disgraceful. They make a show whose name is inspired by a news anchor who just does not shut up, and they expect me to review my experience in less than a hundred words.India Wants to Know is doing to quizzing what Clerk and Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag did to Hindi films, but in a slightly less classy way. The panellists are sometimes tortured for incorrect answers, but there have been no casualties so far. I would love to be invited back once my wounds heal.
There are quizzes and there is IWTK! The first thing that struck me about IWTK is the unique format! The questions are dead serious and factual and will please any hard core quiz buff but the freewheeling banter and discussions around every question makes it engaging for even a peripheral passerby to get hooked! We get to learn so much more and have a blast doing it! Win win!
Sai and the entire team of IWTK basically gave me a wide platform to sprout all this rubbish without even participating in the quiz. So you can imagine how truly happy my heart felt when I'd be called particularly to just entertain everyone with the weirdest things I remember from Hindi movies. I really enjoyed my experience with this team, especially with a year like this, it's nice to look forward to something fun on a Sunday. Keep up the great work guys, thank you for making things slightly better❤️
I first discovered ‘India Wants To Know’ on their eponymous YouTube channel, and spent a whole day watching all the adrenaline fuelled quizzes, just as the national lockdown had begun. It was like hanging out with friends again and since then i've enjoyed participating in their quizzes and also learnt so much faaltu ka trivia just following them on social media (where they refuse to follow me back, or anyone for that matter).
My social media shot for the day isn't complete without checking out the IWTK twitter handle. In the disinformation age, it's kinda awesome that there are a bunch of people at IWTK making trivia and information so much fun. Also, Having been on the panel for one of their quizzes, their quizzes are simply brilliant and super entertaining.
